Soal jeruk lokal, saya lebih suka yang warna kulitnya masih hijau. Biasanya rasanya masih asam manis, menyegarkan. Tapi kalau tidak beruntung bisa dapat yang benar-benar asam tanpa ada manis-manisnya :P

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010After installing python-gtkhtml2 from Karmic repository, now I can install Lekhonee on my netbook. Don’t really have to install it from source, I just have to fetch it’s .deb packages from repository.
Lekhonee is still as simple as when I used it on Blankon Nanggar. At least it worked well. It fetch categories I used on this blog, and I can put tags too. gnome-blog didn’t offer those features.
I hope Lekhonee would get more features on the future, such as ability to save local draft and more formatting option (code, blockquote, etc).

Lekhonee di Lucid Lynx
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010Blogging client untuk WordPress yang biasa saya gunakan di Linux adalah Lekhonee. Walau sederhana, tapi cukuplah untuk kebutuhan saya. Sayangnya, Lekhonee tidak bisa langsung diinstall di Ubuntu 10.04, karena belum tersedianya dependensi python-gtkhtml2 di repositori resmi.
Solusinya mudah saja, cukup ambil dan install paket python-gtkhtml dari repositori Ubuntu 9.10, baru install Lekhonee.

Kalau kejenuhan mencapai titik maksimal
Sunday, June 27th, 2010Ini cerita Sabtu kemarin. And beware, ini postingan amat-tak-penting.
Mulai dari pagi saya sudah ndak mood untuk apapun. Mau lanjutin codingan rasanya malas, jadi saya nyalain Exaile. Dengarin lagu sebentar, terus dimatiin. Bosen. Jadi angkut si bebek keluar cari bahan potretan. Ngider-ngider keliling kota, ndak ada jepretan yang cocok di hati. Balik kandang, nonton TV sebentar, ndak ada acara yang bagus. Akhirnya tidur siang.
Cuma tidur satu jam-an, bangun, lalu nyalain komputer lagi, masih rasa malas. Akhirnya keluar cari warnet. Ngeplurk dan FB sebentar, tapi ndak ada gairah, akhirnya muter-muter lagi. Sempat lihat gerhana sebentar, sms-in teman-teman mengabarkan ada gerhana, pura-pura excited. Tapi mood nge-drop lagi, keliling lagi. Akhirnya niat merusuh ke kos teman. Ngobrol ngalor-ngidul sebentar (sorry for not crashing your place properly, Boy 
), lalu minggat. Sampai di rumah, lihat di TV ternyata Korsel sudah ketinggalan 1-0, dan akhirnya takluk 2-1 di tangan Paraguay. Makin bete dan suntuk.
Pagi ini bangun dengan perasaan segar. Looks like yesterday is one of that day when everything feels negative. But whatever, it’s in the past now.
*NB: benernya sih ini lagi bete karena dari Jum’at fitur multi-site WordPress 3.0 belum berhasil dijalankan di localhost*
Thunderbird 3
Saturday, June 26th, 2010Meski sudah diluncurkan sejak Desember tahun lalu, baru kemarin saya mencoba Thunderbird 3 (keasikan pakai Evolution sih). Sugoiii, keren deh. Sekarang sudah bisa menampilkan threading, cocok buat ngikutin diskusi di milis. Saya juga menyukai layout versi wide-nya. And look, Thunderbird juga otomatis membuat folder yang sama persis dengan yang saya buat di GMail.

Be yourself?
Sunday, June 13th, 2010I noticed something funny yesterday (for me at least). I just realized that “Be Yourself” by Audioslave was the only song that has zero playcount on Rhythmbox, even though it’s been weeks since I installed Lucid and God knows how many times it plays “Human Beings” by Van Halen over and over. It’s rather surprising that there’s a song that hasn’t been played yet despite the playlist is quite short (about 158 songs). Guess that’s what you’d expect from shuffle mode, but still…
Speaking about “Be Yourself”, I think it’s the only necessary mantra to get yourself alienated from the crowd. People tend to expect you to dress the same, behave the same, speak the same, and or think the same like them before they would accept you tho the group. To be yourself means being different to the rest of the group, and that’s a no-no.
But what am I kidding? We are social beings to begin with, so to submit to the peer pressure is only inevitable. Even if it’s feel bitter :P
